Gordon Brown wants the authorities to investigate the conduct of George Osborne in yachtgate in a desperate attempt to deflect the negative headlines as a result of the strain on the economy. There are only two investigations that the authorities should investigate. The first into the lies and deceit that took this country to war in Iraq and the second into the state of the economy and his role in putting the economy on the brink of a recession. After these have been completed, he can investigate whatever else he wants.
